In this video I will share complete tutorial to create the Real Estate App for Mars. Watch complete video to check the final output as I have changed the configurations multiple times to succeed in it.

Create a Profile 1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Profiles, and then select Profiles. 2. Click New Profile. a. For Existing Profile, select Custom: Sales Profile. b. For Profile Name, enter Real Estate User. 3. Click Save. 4. Click Edit, scroll down to Custom Object Permissions, and select the following permissions. a. For Appointments select Read, Create, and Edit and deselect Delete. b. For Listings, select Read, Create, and Edit and deselect Delete. 5. Click Save. Update the Org-Wide Defaults 1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Sharing, and then select Sharing Settings. 2. Click Edit. 3. For Listing, select Public Read Only in both columns. 4. Click Save. Create a Role 1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Roles, and then select Roles. 2. Click Set Up Roles. 3. Click + next to CEO to expand the roles beneath it. 4. Below Mars Rover Real Estate, click Add Role. a. For Label, enter Real Estate Agents. b. For Name, enter Real_Estate_Agents. c. For This role reports to, search for and select Mars Rover Real Estate. d. For Role Name as displayed on reports, enter Agents. 5. Click Save. Create a Sharing Rule 1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Sharing and click Sharing Settings. 2. Under Listing Sharing Rules, click New. a. For Label, enter Share Listings with Agents. b. For Rule Name, enter Share_Listings_with_Agents. c. For Listing: owned by members of, select Roles for the first picklist and Real Estate Agents for the second. d. For Share with, select Roles for the first picklist and Real Estate Agents for the second. e. For Listing access, select Read/Write. 3. Click Save. It takes a few minutes for your changes to take effect. When they do, you get an email.
